Well today we will highlight the story of one such actress whose story remains a stark reminder of the glamour world. She is none other than Nisha Noor a popular star from the 1980s. Who was Nisha Noor? Nisha acted in Tamil Telugu Malayalam and Kannada films carving a strong fan following. In 1980 she made her acting debut with Tamil film Mangala Nayagi. Later she became popular with notable roles in films like Chuvappu Naada Mimics Parade Iyer the Great Devaasuram Ilamai Kolam Enakkaga Kaathiru and Kamal Haasans Tik Tik Tik. She also starred in films like Visus Aval Sumangalithan Rajinikanths Sri Raghavendra and Balachanders Kalyana Agathigal. Nisha Noors tragic downfall Despite starring in projects alongside superstars Nisha was unable to achieve desired popularity. Her career turned downhill after few years when she started receiving limited film offers. According to reports she struggled to find work and was severely affected by poverty. During this tough situation Nisha didnt receive any help from her family or friends. Eventually she decided to quit showbiz permanently. Reports suggested that Nisha was forced into prostitution by a producer resulting in her being sidelined by the industry. Much later Nisha was diagnosed with HIV. According to reports she was found in a harrowing condition sleeping on a street outside a dargah. Her body became thin and she looked fully unrecognisable as an actress. It is reported that a Tamil NGO Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam helped her in such heartbreaking state. Sadly she passed away in 2007 while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
