Jharkhand’s weather will change today, there will be heavy rain in these districts; Orange alert issued

Jharkhand Weather: Jharkhand’s weather is going to change once again. A period of heavy rain will begin once again in the state. According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, monsoon clouds will become denser in the state including Ranchi from Thursday.

Due to the effect of this system, rain is forecast in the entire state. Rain is forecast in Ranchi till 23rd. At the same time, an orange alert for heavy rain has been issued in Palamu and four surrounding districts on the next 22nd and 23rd August.

According to the Meteorological Department, all the districts in the northern part of the state including Santhal Pargana and Palamu division are expected to receive good rains for the next four days. According to the Meteorological Department, a deep low pressure area is passing over the southern coastal part of Odisha. In the next 24 hours, it is likely to enter the interior parts of Odisha and move in the north-west direction. Being close, it has helped the monsoon to become active in Jharkhand. Good rains are expected in the state till August 23.

16.8 mm rain in Ranchi

According to the Meteorological Department, due to monsoon becoming active in the state, many parts of the state received rain during the last 24 hours. The highest rainfall of 36.6 mm was recorded in East Singhbhum. 16.8 mm of rain was recorded in Ranchi.

52% more rain

The state has received 888.9 mm of rain from June 1 to August 19, which is 27% more than the normal rainfall of 700.5 mm. Ranchi has received 1094.2 mm of rain so far this monsoon season, which is 52% more than the normal rainfall of 718.1 mm.

Temperatures dropped by 20 degrees in 24 hours

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of Ranchi was recorded at 27.1 degrees. The temperature here fell by two degrees compared to the last 24 hours. The maximum temperature here is two degrees below normal.
