Olympique de Marseille have confirmed that France international midfielder Adrien Rabiot (30) and England youth international winger Jonathan Rowe (22) have been placed on the transfer list, just one Ligue 1 match into the season. Rabiot and Rowe came to blow in the Roazhon Park’s away dressing room in the aftermath of Marseille’s opening day defeat against Rennes, with Ludovic Blas slotting the winner in injury-time despite the hosts being down to ten.

Olympique de Marseille announce that Adrien Rabiot and Jonathan Rowe have been placed on the club’s transfer list“, the Ligue 1 club’s statement reads. OM adds that this decision was taken due to the pair’s “unacceptable behavior” in the locker room after the match against Stade Rennais FC. The decision has been taken in agreement with the technical staff and in accordance with the club’s internal code of conduct, the club says.

Both Rabiot and Rowe have been informed of Marseille’s decision on Monday. AC Milan and Juventus are reportedly monitoring the France international’s situation. Premier League side Sunderland and Italian outfit Bologna are among clubs tracking Rowe.
