Lee Anderson has issued a hilarious four-word warning to anyone wanting to get their hands on a Reform UK T-shirt. Over the weekend the party unveiled a range of Reform-branded footie kits that featured a pale blue and white version of the British flag.
The teal-coloured tops that will set you back £39.99 a pop or £99.99 for signed editions encourage Brits to 'support the winning team'.
Featuring the Reform UK crest, the shirts are manufactured in the Midlands and don the number 10 with the words Farage on the back. Coming in sizes small to 2XL, the shirts tell Brits to 'stand out in every setting in Reform UK Colours'.
And now Lee Anderson, the Reform MP for Ashfield has hilariously supported the T-shirt by encouraging supporters to get their hands on the merchandise before it is too late.
He wrote on X: "Selling like hot cakes" in a four-word alert to shoppers.
He added: "You know you want to" with a winking emoji.
His comments were in response to a tweet by the Reform UK X account that says: "Support Reform? Buy a shirt."
On Sunday Nigel Farage wrote: "Reform HQ tells me nearly 1,000 shirts were sold in the first hour. Get yours whilst stocks last."
It comes days after the Reform UK leader was accused of being a "Fake patriot" after flogging football shirts with a modified British flag - despite slating England and Team GB for doing the same thing.
Farage branded it an "absolute joke" last year when the England team's jerseys included a multicoloured version of the St George's flag.
In a brief video promoting the shirt, Farage is seen sitting in a changing room surrounded by the tops which feature a blue and white version of the British flag.
He says: "We are Reform FC and I am proud to be its manager. What a season we're having. We're right at the top of the leader board, we're nine points clear of our nearest rivals. And I want you to get on board. Join the winning team, we need your support."
