NEET UG 2025: Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has taken an important decision amid the admission process in MBBS and BDS. The council has allowed those NEET UG candidates who have been allotted seats in counseling round-1 to leave the seat without forfeiting security money. According to the notice issued by MCC, such students can leave their seats from 11 am on August 21 to 5 pm on August 25.
The Medical Counseling Committee has taken this decision after considering the requests received from MBBS and BDS candidates. The candidates had requested not to forfeit the security money to exit the admission process.

According to the latest notice issued by MCC, the committee has received many requests from NEET UG candidates. Many candidates want to leave their Round-1 allotted seats due to various reasons. In this regard, the competent authority has decided to allow resignation without forfeiting the security money.

MCC has said that candidates will have to appear in person at the allotted college to resign from their seat. Candidates are also advised to ensure that their resignation is prepared online (through the portal provided) by the allotted college; otherwise, it will not be valid.
