Escape to the Country star Jules Hudson has issued some exciting news for his fans. Posting on social media, the BBC presenter took to Instagram to share that his earlier house hunting adventures are now available to watch in new episodes. He wrote: "Exciting News! If you've missed any you can catch up on the @bbciplayer, or join us every Monday afternoon at 3pm on BBC One for a host of brand new episodes @escape_country @bbciplayer."

One delighted follower commented: "So excited to have a new series to watch! My husband and I love this programme. Great tv!" A second also said: "I look forward to the New episodes others have been released too many times. ! Love the programme."

A third similarly echoed: "Looking forward to seeing some new Escape to the Country! Repeats for months!!" A fourth also said: "Love watching you all in Canada! Miss Jonnie though."

The long-running daytime show returned to the BBC earlier this month, on 18 August 2025. Jules will join Alistair Appleton, Briony May Williams, Denise Nurse, Ginny Buckley, and Nicki Chapman as they help more homeowners find a slice of paradise.

The show premiered in 2002, and the season premiere saw host Sonali Shah travel north to Scotland's Argyll and Bute as a pair from Cheshire looked for their next dream home.

The synopsis for the second episode of the new season teased: "Jules Hudson helps two retired drama teachers swap Sheffield for Devon's coastal tranquility. He showcases splendid properties, including a charming period cottage with a stunning garden near the beach, as they seek countryside calm."

The third episode, which is due to drop next week, also gives a glimpse to viewers on what to expect. It reads: "Kent's charming cottages and picturesque countryside are calling to a mum and son, ready to settle there after years living overseas. With their budget of £350,000, Denise Nurse is on a mission to find them a place to call home."

Escape to the Country can be streamed on BBC iPlayer.
