In an emotional post, Ashwin wrote, “It is said that there is a new beginning after every end. My journey as an IPL cricketer is ending today, but now I am ready to play in the second T20 leagues of the world.” This means that they are retiring from IPL, but want to continue their cricket in the rest of T20 leagues. Ashwin played a total of 221 matches in the IPL and took 187 wickets, which made his record very good. In his career, Ashwin played for five franchisees like Chennai Super Kings, Rising Pune Supergiant, Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals. He scored a total of 187 wickets and 833 runs. His 17 -year IPL career is known for his brilliant strategic skills and adaptation in bowling. Ashwin won two IPL titles with CSK in 2010 and 2011.
