Madhya Pradesh Government Scheme: "The name of a garden mother" has been started in the state under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav regarding women empowerment. Under this, fruitful saplings are being planted on their private land by women of self-help groups. Here, the enthusiasm of the women of the group is also visible to develop the garden. So far, 10 thousand 162 women have also received approval. An amount of Rs 1000 crore is being spent by the state government under the project. Khandwa district is currently at the forefront of developing the garden of Phalodian, while Singrauli district is second in the state.
The women of the self -help group have been selected from the app to a garden mother to take advantage of the project in the name of a garden mother. The app has been constructed by the MNREGA Council through MPSEDC. Under the project, a target has been set to benefit 31 thousand 300 groups of the state, but 40 thousand 406 women in the state have registered with the app to a garden mother, which is more than the target.
The name of a garden mother includes 9 thousand 662 gram panchayats of 313 blocks under all the districts of the state. 40 thousand 406 women have been registered in 10 thousand 162 villages under these panchayats. Under the project, a minimum of 100 beneficiaries have been selected from each block. Women will also be trained twice a year.
The work of planting fruitful saplings has started in the state from August 15 on the private land of women of the group under the project under the name of a garden mother. Which will run till 15 September 2025.
The plantation being done under the project in the name of a garden mother will be monitored through drone by Madhya Pradesh Electric Development Corporation Limited. So that the selected land, pits can easily get information about the status quo of plants.
For the first time in the state, the help of Sipri software is being taken for plantation. The land has been selected through scientific method for plantation through software. Along with the climate, which fruit plant is useful on which land, when and at what time will the plant be planted, adequate amount of water is available for the irrigation of plants, all this is being detected through the scientific method (Sipri software). Also, if the land is not found to be useful, the plantation will not be done. Training has also been given to the concerned officers and employees to ensure that plantation should be done better.
"Name of a garden mother" project, more than 30 lakh fruitful plants will be planted on the private land of women of 31 thousand 300 self-help groups of the state, which will form the basis of economic prosperity of women of the group.
Whether the work of plantation is being done correctly. Along with this, a separate dashboard has been made for supervision. Through this, how much work is being done every day in which district. It is being monitored. The first 3 districts, 10 district panchayats and 25 gram panchayats will also be rewarded on the basis of demonstration.
The woman of the group selected to take advantage of the project in the name of a garden mother has also been fixed to the woman to install the garden. It is mandatory to have a minimum of 0.5 or maximum one acre of land with the selected woman.
In the implementation of the project in the name of a garden mother, 5 districts are ahead in September 3. Which includes Khandwa, Singrauli, Betul, Dewas and Agar Malwa. Talking about the top 5 blocks, Khandwa, Chitrangi, Pandhana, Punasa and Khalwa are included.
