Real-world tests show a range of about 449 km of average range in urban and highway conditions, meaning the long distances are covered easily. By using a strong DC fast charger of 175 kW, these SUVs can go from 20% to 80% charge in just 20 minutes. Both SUVs are built on the advanced Mahindra INGLO platform and are powered by the AI-based MAIA system which is a powerful brain with over 50 trillion operations per second, it is also equipped with 24 GB RAM, Snapdragon chips, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and 5G support. The BE 6 has received a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, with 7 airbags, Level-2 ADAS systems, and smart driving aids like HUD, voice assistant, and ambient lighting. The world premiere of Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e held on November 26, 2024, at the UNLIMIT INDIA event in Chennai, where the brand showcased its vision for the future of sustainable mobility. Mahindra quickly shifted from unveiling to market launch, as on January 7, 2025, the company officially announced the prices for the premium 'Pack Three' variants of both SUVs and started the bookings for customers across India. On January 14, 2025, Mahindra started with phased test drives, giving buyers a chance to get behind the wheel and experience the performance, comfort, and advanced features of these electric SUVs. By February 2025, the company rolled out its first customer deliveries of the Pack Three variants. Deliveries continued in phases through March 2025.
