The ID.Polo will run on Volkswagen's MEB electric platform, which offers two battery options- 38 kWh and 56 kWh. This means it will give a range of up to 450 km on a single charge, making it a practical choice for city drives and long trips. It will also offer hassle free fast charging of up to 125 kW.

For hothatch lovers, the ID.Polo GTI will be equipped with a 226 hp electric motor, while the GTI Clubsport pushes it to 286 hp. And if you need more, a 400 hp dual-motor AWD version is also in the making, wearing Volkswagen's special "R" badge.
If we look at the design, the ID.Polo looks modern but the feel is still same as the Polo we know. It has slim headlights, sporty wheel arches, split spoilers, and classy alloy wheels. Inside of this hatchback, we can expect a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, a 10.9-inch digital driver display, and a mix of digital and physical controls. Volkswagen is also using eco-friendly materials in the cabin.

If looked at the size, this new ID.Polo is a bit larger than the traditional Polo, giving more space for passengers while keeping its compact hatchback design at the centre. Volkswagen emphasises that this is the start of a new era of affordable electric cars, with the ID.Polo leading the way alongside other small EVs like the upcoming ID.Cross.
The company is also listening to customer feedback, focusing on better quality materials, smarter technology and a driving experience that endures both futuristic and familiar. The Polo has always been one of the favorites among young drivers and daily commuters. With the ID.Polo, Volkswagen is predicting that fans will love it even more.
