Maya Ali has made a heartfelt revelation about experiencing heartbreak in love and shared her candid thoughts on marriage during a recent podcast appearance.

The 36-year-old star, known for her powerful performances in dramas and films, appeared as a guest on a popular podcast where she opened up about various aspects of her personal life, including love, marriage, and societal pressure.

When asked why she hasn’t tied the knot yet, Maya Ali responded thoughtfully, saying, “I won’t get married just because people think it’s the right time or because my age is advancing. I will only marry when I truly feel a connection with someone—when I meet the right person who makes me believe that marriage is the right decision.”

Speaking further on the subject, Maya emphasized that marriage is a life-changing decision that goes beyond two individuals. “Marriage isn’t just about two people; it’s about two families coming together. That’s why it’s important to feel a genuine connection with the person you’re marrying,” she said.

Addressing the delay in her marriage, Maya said she believes in divine timing. “Marriage is a decision made by Allah. It will happen when it’s meant to happen. If there is a delay, people should understand that it’s also a part of God’s plan,” she stated.

When asked whether she had ever met someone with whom she felt she could settle down—possibly someone from the entertainment industry—Maya remained silent, only smiling in response, leaving fans to speculate.

However, the conversation took a more emotional turn when the host asked if she had ever fallen in love. Maya admitted that she had. “Yes, I have been in love,” she said, “but for love to be successful, it’s important to be with the right person. Love isn’t about being right or wrong—it’s about compatibility. Maybe the person I loved wasn’t right for me, or perhaps I wasn’t right for him.”

She concluded by saying that falling in love isn’t difficult; sustaining it is. “I did try to make it work,” Maya added.

Her honesty has resonated with fans, many of whom praised her for being real and emotionally open about such personal matters in an industry often driven by appearances.
