Apple is preparing to expand its retail presence in India. Recently the companys CEO Tim Cook has announced the opening of two more official retail outlets in Bengalurus Hebbal and Punes Koregaon Park and said the US tech giant was thrilled to continue to bring the best of its technology to customers across India at these two new outlets. Sharing a post on X(previously Twitter) the Apple CEO said: Say hello to Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru and Apple Koregaon Park in Pune! We are thrilled to continue to bring the best of Apple to customers across India at these two new stores. Apple is all set to unveil its next-generation iPhones at its Awe Dropping event today September 9 2025. All eyes will focus on the four new devices that are likely to be announced. Many consumers will be waiting for the event to purchase previous-generation iPhones for a lower price. With the launch of the new iPhone 17 series there are reports that Apple is expected to lower the price of its older-generation flagship devices. Since the iPhone 16 Pro Max iPhone 16 Pro iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will likely see discontinuation after the September 9 event the only opportunity for a price drop is on the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.Apple’s past trends suggest a similar outcome may follow this year’s iPhone launch. After last years September event the iPhone 15 was officially cut by Rs 10000. The iPhone 14 had a similar price cut after the 2023 launch. Of course with the festive season right around the corner the iPhone 16 could be more affordable than anticipated on e-commerce platforms where many of them will offer large price cuts on previous iPhone models during Diwali sales.
