Strictly Come Dancing star Thomas Skinner has sensationally admitted cheating on his wife just weeks after they tied the knot. The star, 34, broke down in tears as he confessed to a "two-week fling" with beauty clinic boss Amy-Lucy O'Rourke, 35, describing it as "the biggest mistake of my life."

Skinner, who found fame on the 2019 series of The Apprentice before becoming known for his motivational "morning kebab and pint" videos, revealed he was racked with guilt after the affair. Speaking to The Sun, he said: "I let my wife down in that brief moment of madness where I wasn't thinking, where I didn't appreciate what I had. I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry." The East London businessman met Amy-Lucy in a pub after she offered him cosmetic treatments in return for publicity.

But their flirty chats turned into a fling shortly after his May 2022 wedding to wife Sinead, with whom he already shared a young son. Skinner recalled the devastating moment he confessed: "When I told my wife, I fully understood if she was to never speak to me again. She was distraught. I'll never forget it."

Miraculously, Sinead forgave him and the couple have since gone on to welcome identical twin daughters, now two. Skinner insists the affair was "nothing more than that" and vowed he'll never put his marriage in jeopardy again. "My wife is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I'm so lucky she forgave me." Despite his TV success, including Celebrity MasterChef and Michael McIntyre's Big Show, the businessman admitted his betrayal will haunt him forever

A spokeswoman for beauty clinic boss Amy-Lucy said: "This has been an incredibly stressful chapter in her life.

"She did not have a fling with Mr Skinner, she had a relationship with him and was deceived, then treated appallingly."

Skinner claimed bereavement influenced his actions, with the affair occurring just one day after a close mate, known as Big Mark, had tragically passed away. Mark had housed Skinner when he was without a home and served as a paternal figure to himhomas has dominated headlines recently after being revealed as part of the cast for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Earlier this month, he "walked out" of an interview and subsequently explained that he had spotted messages on a journalist's mobile regarding a "personal story" from his history. Skinner had objected to a reporter filming an interview during a press event for Strictly at Elstree Studios before the BBC programme's comeback.

He was reported to have 'grabbed' a reporter's mobile and 'walked out' as he faced questions about the launch.
