Bollywood just gave us another reason to circle Valentine’s Day 2026 in bold red. Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj are reuniting for an action thriller titled O’ Romeo, co-starring Triptii Dimri and Avinash Tiwary. The film, produced under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner, is set to release on 14 February 2026.

The title announcement has already sent fans into a frenzy, thanks to the exciting cast and the talented director who's at the helm of affairs. Though the title sounds like a romance drama, O’ Romeo is a high-octane action thriller — the kind of film that blends adrenaline-pumping sequences with Vishal Bhardwaj’s signature storytelling style.

The film has been shot across breathtaking international and domestic locations, adding scale and freshness to the narrative. While details of the plot are being kept tightly under wraps, the visuals promise to offer a mix of romance, drama, and edge-of-the-seat action.

Interestingly, O’ Romeo was initially expected to arrive on December 5, 2025, alongside Dhurandhar and The RajaSaab. But with Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s Tu Meri Main Tera shifting its release to December 31, 2025, the Shahid–Triptii starrer has now taken the coveted Valentine’s Day slot.

For fans, this switch means a double treat as the New Year will begin with a romantic drama, while Valentine’s Day will bring an action-packed thriller to theatres.

Shahid was last seen in another action-thriller, Deva, which was released earlier this year. Triptii Dimri was recently seen in Dhadak 2, winning hearts with her performance in the film that was praised for its strong social message. Meanwhile, her Laila Majnu co-star, Avinash Tiwary’s last release was Mehta Boys, opposite Boman Irani.
