Renowned actress Sanam Saeed recently revealed that she was seven months pregnant during the shooting of her ongoing drama “Main manto nahi hoon” and had to carefully conceal her baby bump while filming.

In a candid interview with Something HauteSanam opened up about her return to television after a seven-year hiatus, sharing her excitement about working alongside stars Humayun Saeed and Sajal Aly for the first time.

The actress had earlier announced in June 2025 that she had given birth to a baby boy, Vali Hassan Mirzaon May 18, 2025but shared the news a month later. During the interview, she disclosed that she was already pregnant when she began shooting the drama and had discussed her concerns with director Nadeem Baig about appearing on screen while expecting.

Sanam said that during the initial scenes of the drama, she was in her seventh month of pregnancy and took great care to hide her baby bump on screen. She added that she played the role of a lecturerwhich gave her the opportunity to wear sarees and manage her look with grace and professionalism, despite her condition.

She also revealed that during the Lahore shooting schedule, she was nearly eight months pregnantyet continued to film for three weeks straight, balancing her professional commitments with her pregnancy.

Sanam and fellow actor Mohib Mirza confirmed their marriage in 2023, after years of speculation. This is the second marriage for both actors. Mohib was previously married to model Aamina Sheikh, with whom he has a daughter. Sanam’s first marriage, which took place in 2015, ended in divorce in 2018.
