Rahul gets Pappu's support
Talking to the media in Patna on Wednesday, MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav said, "Every leader has the right to speak. All the leaders of the Grand Alliance have the strength to fight. Rahul Gandhi has decided to go among the public. From August 17, we will move forward to protect the security of the poor of Bihar and protect the constitution."What did Pappu say on SIR dispute
On the SIR dispute and double epic number case, Pappu Yadav said, 'I have also said before that the epic ID should be linked to the Aadhaar card. When the epic number is linked to the Aadhaar card, there will be no meaning left. Why are they not linking it? They say on one side that there are 8 lakh double voter ID cards. Our leader (Rahul Gandhi) has said that the BJP has come to power by 'stealing votes'. The Election Commission is neither ready to give CCTV footage nor is ready to give voter list. It is also not telling who has cut 65 lakh votes and why are it cut? 'Get Lok Sabha elections again- Pappu Yadav
Pappu Yadav further said, 'The Commission says that BLOs reached crores of people and they collected information about them. I ask that when they have not taken any letter or papers from the people, on what basis the vote was cut. I think they were already sitting in their mind as to whose vote to be cut. Questioning the process of the Election Commission, Pappu Yadav said, "If the Lok Sabha election is held on the Aadhaar card and it is wrong, then I demand that they should first dissolve the Lok Sabha. They (ECI) should hold a new election and then SIR should be held."
