The audience is set to witness an exciting clash in the much-awaited courtroom drama Jolly LLB 3 directed by Subhash Kapoor. This time both “Jollys” — Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi — will face off in the same film. On one side stands Akshay Kumar with his star power and on the other Arshad Warsi with his long-standing association with the franchise. The film is expected to perform well particularly in Hindi-speaking regions. Advance bookings for the film have already begun and expectations are high with many believing this could mark Akshay Kumar’s big comeback after a long gap. Ticket sales for Jolly LLB 3 opened on September 15 but within two days only 34310 tickets were sold. According to sacnilk the film collected just Rs 10390252 from advance bookings on its first day  a modest figure for a film with such a big star cast. With less than two days remaining until release advance bookings have only crossed Rs 1 crore. Producers however remain optimistic that sales will pick up closer to release. Previous box office collections This isn’t the first time the franchise has seen slow advance bookings. Jolly LLB 2 (2017) Akshay Kumar’s first entry into the series also had an unimpressive start in pre-sales. However strong word of mouth helped it earn Rs 13 crore on its opening day. The film went on to collect Rs 117 crore in India and Rs 198 crore worldwide. When is Jolly 3 releasing? The story of Jolly LLB 3 revolves around a land-grabbing case. Akshay Kumar’s character Jagdishwar “Jolly” Mishra defends a powerful politician taken to court by villagers while Arshad Warsi’s Jagdish “Jolly” Tyagi represents the villagers. Saurabh Shukla reprises his role as the judge while Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao also return. New additions include powerhouse performers Gajraj Rao and Seema Biswas.
