Drink the right amount of water

Adequate amount of water is very important to run our body smoothly. While walking or workouts, a large amount of water and electrolytes are released from our body through sweat. In such a situation, if you do not drink proper water during the walk, then you may have dehydration. Due to which fatigue, dizziness, muscle pen and low energy problems can occur. Due to this, you do not get the benefit of the walk because in this situation your body is not able to burn calories properly. To avoid this, drink 1-2 glasses of water about 30 minutes before going on the walk. If you are going on a long walk, then take a bottle of water with you.

Good footwear is important

While walking, one should choose your footwear correctly. Because your shoes and slippers are an essential part of your health. Using wrong footwear can increase the problem of leg pain, blisters, heel injury and knee and back pain. Due to this, you will not be able to take full advantage of your walk. Always take a footwear that is comfortable, there is a lot of space for toes and supports the heel well.

Small steps

People feel that long and long steps can be moved fast and it will benefit us more. But this is a misunderstanding. In fact, taking a very long steps worsens your body’s balance and causes extra pressure on the muscles of your feet, especially the calf and joints, causing pain and injury. So we should try to walk with comfortable steps in normal speed and keep the length of the steps natural.

Warm-up and cool down

We need to stretching and warm up at least 5 minutes before walking. Not doing so increases the risk of stretch and injury in our muscles. At the same time, sudden stopping during the walk can reduce heartbeat and blood pressure, which can cause dizziness. To avoid this, even after finishing the walk, walk slowly for 5 minutes and then do light stretching so that the body can get cool down time.
