Strictly Come Dancing 2025 waltzes back onto BBC One and iPlayer tomorrow, and bookies have already predicted who will be the first person to leave the show. With its mix of drama, sequins, and Saturday night sparkle, this year's series promises another unmissable run, and if the odds are anything to go by, fans should keep their eyes firmly on the judges as well as the contestants. Strictly odd specials from UK slots provider Slingo have been predicted, with one major bombshell being that a judge might walk away from the BBC show by next year. Currently, there are four judges on the panel: Shirley Ballas, Anton du Beke, Motsi Mabuse, and Craig Revel Horwood.
Craig has long been the subject of speculation over when he'll finally call time on Strictly. The TV star has been a loyal judge on the show since it started in 2004. However, the odds for him to leave are now at an all-time high.
Slingo has unveiled odds at 8/11 that Craig will walk away before the end of 2026. Close behind is fellow judge Shirley Ballas, priced at 6/4.
Speaking on behalf of UK slots provider Slingo, Celebrity PR Specialist Kayley Cornelius said: "The future of Strictly Come Dancing could hang in the balance, with the show set for its biggest shake-up to date at the end of this year. [...]
"After years of speculation about when he'd finally call it a day, Craig Revel Horwood has once again hinted at being ready to retire. At odds of 8/11, he's strongly tipped to cut ties with Strictly before the end of next year.
"Following closely behind, Shirley Ballas is also in the spotlight. Priced at 6/4, the odds suggest she could be next to step away. Having publicly defended Giovanni Pernice during last year's controversy, she's faced her fair share of scrutiny - and there are mounting questions over how long she'll want to remain at the helm."
In other exciting news, Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg have announced that they are expecting their first child together. The Strictly Come Dancing professional and YouTuber met originally on the BBC dance competition after being paired together.
They announced the exciting news on social media on Sunday, 14 September, sharing an adorable Instagram video. They added the caption: "Our little baby boy. We cannot wait to meet you."
Strictly Come Dancing returns tomorrow on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 6:40pm.
