Notably, Gavin Casalegno, who portrays Jeremiah, was spotted filming scenes in Paris, which have now been confirmed as misleading by creator Jenny Han.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jenny Han explained, 'We brought Gavin to Paris to film some scenes, aiming to keep surprises for the audience. In today's world, where spoilers are rampant, it can diminish the excitement of a story. This was my attempt to safeguard the narrative for viewers.'

Gavin added, 'While those scenes didn't make it into the episodes, it was enjoyable to film them and see onlookers capturing the moment. I felt like a secret agent or something similar.'

In one of the staged scenes, Gavin was shown embracing Lola Tung, who plays Belly. Looking ahead, Jenny Han has confirmed that 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' will transition into a movie format. She expressed her gratitude to Prime Video for their ongoing support, stating, 'There is another significant milestone in Belly's journey that deserves to be told through a film.'

In the series finale, Belly and Conrad reunite in Paris after a lengthy separation, exploring the city together. Despite their mutual feelings, they refrain from openly expressing their love. Belly struggles with her emotions, leading her to distance herself from Conrad, who also chooses to step back from her life.
