House rental: Home fees can no longer be paid with Finch applications such as Phonbay, BDM, credit and Amazon Bay. The reason for this is that the new rules of the Reserve Bank of India (Reserve Bank) have been implemented to impose strict control of the payment services. What do the new RBI rules say? Under the new RBI rules, payment accumulations and payment entrances can now create transactions with direct contact traders or traders who have completed the entire KYC. Landlords are not often registered merchants, so now their payment from the credit card cannot be sent directly with Findk applications. Previous persons took reward points or cashback in the account of friends or relatives without transferring money to the full KYC, but the Reserve Bank considered it to be illegal and dangerous, so this facility was stopped. In June 2024, the impact of banks and Finch companies implemented a 1% additional fee from the HDFC bank credit card, while ICICI and SBI cards stopped giving reward points for such payments. The SBI cards said that a large part of their wholesale retail expenses was from rental fees, so now their fees will also increase the pressure on EPS. This is a big setback for Finch companies because the rental fee was part of their platform, and now they need to find new offers and business samples. In March 2024, Phonap, BDM, Mobicwick, Freergage and Amazon Bay stopped the payment fee from Credit Card on March 2024. After the new rules of the Reserve Bank came into effect on September 2025, all sites, including credit, completely eliminated this feature. Now customers cannot pay rent with credit cards through Findch applications, they do not have reward points or benefit them without interest.
