New Delhi . Shreyas Iyer was recently made the captain of India A Team. He also captained the first unofficial test match against Australia A. The match was a draw, but now it is reported that Shreyas Iyer is going to miss the second match. He is going to withdraw his name from the second i.e. the last match due to personal reasons. In such a situation, Dhruv Jurael or silver can be the captain of the team, who are not mainly part of this team. Rajat Patidar recently won the Dalip Trophy as captain. Today i.e. on Tuesday 23 September, this four -day match is to be played. Jurael was declared the Vice Captain of that team.

According to the Cricbuzz report, it is not yet clear why Shreyas Ayyar has withdrawn the name from the match, but sources associated with the case say that he has returned to Mumbai from Lucknow after captaining the team in the first match concluded in Lucknow on September 19. It is believed that he has informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) about his unavailable, citing personal reasons. He could not be contacted immediately to comment on this.

After a brilliant performance in the IPL, Shreyas Iyer was expected to join the Indian team for the current Asia Cup 2025, but did not find a place in the team.
