According to the latest information received from the Meteorological Department, the monsoon has left the northwest part of the country. On Wednesday, along with the national capital, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Goa and Uttar Pradesh have been kept in the Green Zone. Along with this, a warning has not been issued to Arunachal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
In Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, at least eight people died due to electric current due to torrential rains. Aerial, rail and road transport have been affected due to such heavy rains that occurred after nearly four decades. The state government has been forced to declare the holiday of worship two days in advance. 251.4 mm of rainfall occurred in less than twenty -four hours after 1986.
At the same time, in West Bengal yesterday also, heavy rain has been estimated. The Meteorological Department has not released any kind of warning in the Himalayan part of the state. But there is a possibility of torrential rains in the coastal part. Due to which Yellow alert has been issued here.
Apart from the coastal West Bengal, a lot of rain has been estimated in Odisha and Chhattisgarh tomorrow. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in both these states. At the same time, Yellow alert has been issued in Bihar, Jharkhand, Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura of Northeast India.
