Apple's new AirPods Pro 3 are seriously impressive. As you can read in our full AirPods Pro 3 review, these buds offer an improved fit, better audio, longer battery life, and even the ability to monitor your heart rate as you stroll around the park. They really are very good, but if you want to stand out from the crowd and have something a little more unique in your ears, then it might be worth checking out the latest mini music makers from Bang & Olufsen.
The premium audio company has just announced the release of its new Beo Grace buds, which feature a very smart, polished aluminium design and a metal charging case.
There's some top-notch Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which blocks out all that annoying background sound, along with extras such as Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos. At the heart is a 12 mm titanium driver, which Bang & Olufsen says produces deeper bass with detailed highs.
They will keep the music blasting for over four hours, and when they do run out of battery, that portable case then offers a further 12.5 hours of power.
Simple NearTap touch controls - which are actually activated by touching the ear - let you pause, rewind and skip tracks. As B&O explains, "With NearTap, there's no need to touch the earbuds to adjust volume. Just tap the skin in front of your ear - right side to increase, left side to lower. It makes volume control more intuitive than ever. Simple. Precise. Effortless."
Another bonus is the ability to turn the charging case into a wireless audio transmitter. Just plug it into any device with USB-C and it instantly streams low-latency sound to the earbuds. That could make them ideal for in-flight entertainment or using at the gym.
So, how much is all this going to cost you?
Bang and Olufsen say the Beo Grace will go on sale soon, and they are not cheap. Those wanting a pair will need to splash out around £1,000. Ouch! If that wasn't enough to drain the bank account, there's also the option to add a leather case to help keep the charging case safe.
That will cost you an extra £400!
