India’s Longest Metro: Public transport system is being strengthened by the government in major cities of the country. The metro has given a new height to the public transport system. The metro has now started in many major cities of the country.
Metro service is available in many cities in Maharashtra. Metro has been started in cities like Mumbai Pune Nagpur and this has made the journey of the citizens of the city superfast.
Meanwhile, the longest metro route in the country is also being erected in our Maharashtra. This metro project is being created in your Mumbai. The project is being worked out by MMRDA.
Badlapur – Kanjur Marg will be the whole route. This will save the most of the passengers. The metro route will be created with the private companies by the authorities.
Due to this, the citizens of Badlapur and surrounding areas can reach Mumbai rapidly. The project will be completed in the next 5 years. Travelers have to travel by locals to travel to Badlapur Kanjur Marg.
But the Metro Line is going to reduce the stress on 14 locals. This will allow passengers to travel fast, safe. During the rainy days, local travel on this route becomes more challenging.
Sometimes the locals stop. But after the start of the metro, this problem will be resolved. The 38 -kilometer -long metro route on Badlapur Kanjur will be of great benefit to Mumbaiis.
Due to this new line, the journey of seven lakh Mumbaiis will be faster. In particular, it has been claimed that the first metro route in Mumbai will be crossing the creek.
The DPR of this project was recently prepared a few days ago and the proposal has also been approved by IIT Mumbai. The project will be developed on the basis of a public partnership, a private public partnership.
The tender process for this has also been started. The MMRDA will learn the opinion of private companies to work on this project. July 28 is the last date.
The tender will be scrutinized for the companies that will be presented during this period. Later, proposals will be sought from the eligible companies. Although the tender has been removed from the MMRDA, the state government will take a final decision.
The project has been discussed with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and now after a discussion with Chief Minister Fadnavis, the state cabinet can be shown a green lantern.
All the metro routes in the country come under the Ministry of Urban Development. Due to this, the central government will also be informed about the project.
