Taking photos is a great ways to document important moments in time, making them easier to remember and reminisce about in the future. However, sometimes the pictures might not turn out the way you had expected, for better or worse.

This is exactly what happened a group of friends after they took a photo of what appears to be a hike in nature, which ended up becoming an accidental optical illusion. While some optical illusions are created deliberately to test and challenge people's minds, some come about in everyday moments, with people just happening to be in the right place at the right time.

Taking to Reddit, one user went on to shared a photo where a group of people were seen clinking their bottles of alcohol together - however, there's something eerie about the picture.

While three people were clearly visible - dressed in blue, orange, and red jackets respectively - there were in fact four bottles and four hands in the middle, indicating that there must be a fourth person somewhere in the photo. But where is that person?

"Do you see the fourth person?" the person sharing the image wrote on the post as they urged people to share their answers.

Many also shared their frustration at not being able to immediately spot the person, with some sharing their struggles in the comment section of the post.

"I’ve been had! I even zoomed in for gods sake," another person said. A fourth user wrote: "It took me a full minute and a half to get this."

Another person went on to say: "I thought the orange dude’s backpack was the fourth person and I was like 'this was supposed to trick me?' Lmao."

Where is the fourth person hiding in the photo?

The person in question is standing right in sight in the left part of the photo. However, their camo-patterned jacket makes them blend in perfectly into the nature behind them, which makes them more difficult to spot at first glance. You can also spot their leg in the bottom left corner of the photo.

Several users were able to spot the person immediately, whereas others had a more challenging time trying to find them.

"Ok now thats a good cammo [sic]," one person wrote in the comment section of the post.

In response to this, another user said: "I... I spotted the glove, not the sleeve and was about to call people stupid for not seeing the purple glove of the person that's been edited out... 100% camo utilization... the man who was not there (according to CCTV)."

"Wow, that took me longer thab [sic] I'd like to admit," another person revealed.
