AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2025: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Gorakhpur, has opened the application process for faculty positions on direct recruitment, deputation, and contractual basis. Candidates can apply through the official website, aiimsgorakhpur.edu.in, until October 26, 2025.

Faculty positions will be filled in various departments.
Under the AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2025, faculty positions will be filled in the departments of Anesthesia, Cardiology, General Medicine, Radiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Urology, and Trauma and Emergency Medicine. Reservations will be provided to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and differently-abled candidates as per Government of India regulations.

Professor: 21 positions
Additional Professor: 15 positions
Associate Professor: 28 positions
Assistant Professor: 24 positions
A total of 88 faculty positions will be filled.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have the required teaching and research experience as per the National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines. A DM or M.Ch degree is mandatory for super-specialty positions.

Age Limit
The maximum age limit for candidates applying for the Professor and Additional Professor positions for the AIIMS Gorakhpur Faculty Recruitment 2025 is 58 years. The maximum age limit for candidates applying for the Associate Professor and Assistant Professor positions is 50 years.

Additionally, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), persons with disabilities, government employees, and ex-servicemen will be eligible for age relaxation as per government rules.

Pay Scale
Candidates selected under the AIIMS Gorakhpur Faculty Recruitment 2025 will be offered an attractive pay scale. The salary for the Professor position is set at Pay Level 14A, ranging from ₹1,68,900 to ₹2,20,400. Additional Professors will receive a salary of ₹1,48,200 to ₹2,11,400, based on Pay Level 13A2+. Associate Professors will receive a salary of ₹1,38,300 to ₹2,09,200, based on Pay Level 13A1+. Assistant Professors will receive a salary of ₹1,01,500 to ₹1,67,400, based on Pay Level 12. The Seventh Pay Commission rules will apply to all positions.

The monthly honorarium for the post of Professor (Consultant) on a contract basis has been fixed at ₹2,20,000. In the case of retired faculty, the designation will be Professor (Consultant) or Additional Professor (Consultant). Candidates selected for the post of Additional Professor (Consultant) will receive a monthly stipend of ₹2,00,000.

Application Fee
The application fee for the AIIMS Gorakhpur Faculty Recruitment 2025 is determined by category. The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS candidates is ₹2,000, while SC and ST candidates will have to pay only ₹500. Persons with disabilities, deputation applicants, and retired teachers will not be charged any application fee.
