90 percent grant will be given to eligible fishermen under Bihar government’s boat net package distribution scheme. The objective of this scheme is to improve their economic condition and develop the fisheries industry in the region. The last date to apply for this scheme is 31 December.
Under the boat mesh package distribution scheme, fishermen will also be provided with wooden boats and motor -powered boats. Along with this, fishermen will also be given a trap thrown. Under this scheme, the target of the wooden boat is 11 and the target of the motor -powered boat is set 15. 175 thrown nets will also be provided to eligible fishermen. The objective of this scheme is to provide better resources to fishermen for fisheries, so that they can increase their capacity of fisheries and also become financially empowered. The Bihar government is giving a grant of 90 percent under this scheme, so that fishermen of the area will get better earnings from the fisheries industry.
The Bihar government has launched this scheme only in view of the problems of the fishermen of the region, so that the problems that fishermen had to face earlier, they can get rid of it and they can be financially capable and also develop the fish farming industry. Under this scheme, fishermen will not only get financial help, but technical assistance will also be provided. Fishermen can apply till 31 December to get benefits under this scheme. Application has to be done online. On receiving the application, government officials will investigate it and only after that the benefits of this scheme will be provided to the eligible beats.
