Lucknow. New assistant teachers and spokespersons appointed in government secondary schools of Uttar Pradesh can get their first salary before Diwali. This news has brought a light before Deepawali for these teachers who have been waiting for salary for a long time.
Salary was stuck in verification process
A total of 543 teachers selected by the state government were given appointment letters by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in May. These teachers had also taken charge in their schools on time, but the salary could not be issued due to delay in verification of their original documents.
Taking the matter seriously, the Directorate of Secondary Education has issued instructions to all the district school inspectors (DIOS) that the delays in paying their salaries should be removed without delay.
Salary will be received before Deepawali
It is now expected that the remaining formalities of verification will be completed soon and all the eligible teachers will get their salary in bank accounts before Deepawali. This will not only provide financial relief to the teachers, but it will also be a positive sign in the direction of transparency and timeliness in the education system.
Government’s initiative is commendable
This initiative of the Uttar Pradesh government is being seen as an important step in the education sector. This will not only increase the morale of new teachers, but will also help in making the appointment process more systematic and effective in the future.
