Social media sensation Awez Darbar who entered Bigg Boss 19 with his girlfriend Nagma Mirajkar faced eviction during Weekend Ka Vaar. Despite his massive fan following Awez received the lowest votes and was eliminated on September 28. However soon after his exit rumours began to circulate that he had taken a voluntary exit. In an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha Awez dismissed these reports as baseless. He made it clear that his eviction was purely based on low votes not a decision he made on his own. Did Awez take a voluntary exit? Brushing off the speculation Awez said “Kya voluntary exit mein koi 2 crore lekar bahar aata hai? Agar mil bhi rahe hote toh baat alag thi. Sach kahun toh mujhe show mein bahut maza aa raha tha. Jab Gauahar ne mujhe sab bata diya tha tab main super pumped tha. Main tayyar tha ki ab sabki waat lagaunga lekin mauka nahi mila. Mujhe yeh bhi bura laga ki mujhe apne doston ko bye bolne ka mauka bhi nahi mila. Woh eviction doosre level ka tha.” He emphasised that if given a chance he would have continued the game as he was thoroughly enjoying the experience. What did Awez say about Amaal Malik’s claims? Awez also addressed the controversy surrounding musician Amaal Malik’s remarks. Malik had reportedly claimed that he gave “business” to Awez. Countering this Awez not only denied the claims but also shared his Instagram chats with Malik as proof. Taking a strong stand Awez said “Maine kahin unse kaam maanga hai? Aur 20 lakh wale daave ke baare mein unka shukriya ki unhone mere rates duniya ke saamne rakh diye. Waise Amaal ke liye main kabhi kaam kar hi nahi sakta. Kyunki unhone mujhe challenge kiya hai ki main unke saath kaam na karun.” He further added “Pehli baat agar chahenge bhi toh main unke saath kaam nahi karna chahta. Aur dusri baat main yeh sunischit karoonga ki mere parivaar ka koi bhi sadasya unke saath kaam na kare. Main apne doston ko bhi manaaunga ki woh kabhi Amaal ke saath kaam na karein.” What about Armaan Malik and Dabboo Malik? When asked about messages from Amaal’s brother Armaan Malik and father Dabboo Malik Awez responded politely. He said “Aapko maafi maangne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Amaal aur main dono itne bade ho chuke hain ki hum apne masle khud suljha sakte hain. Fikr na karein main neeche star tak nahi jaoonga aur na hi unke baare mein jo kuch bhi jaanta hoon woh sabko bataoonga. Main sirf un jhoothe arop ko saaf karoonga jo unhone mere upar lagaye hain.” Why was Awez evicted despite popularity? Awez’s eviction came just weeks after Nagma Mirajkar who was also unable to create the buzz viewers expected. Their lack of high-voltage drama may have contributed to their early exits. Just before eviction his sister-in-law Gauahar Khan had advised him to play boldly and take charge of his game. Unfortunately his journey was cut short before he could put that advice into action.
