New Delhi: Rhea Chakraborty, the actress, has announced that she has finally regained her passport after a lengthy five-year period.
The Bombay High Court's recent ruling in her favor concerning the death of her late partner, actor Sushant Singh Rajput, led to the return of her passport.
On Friday, the 33-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a photo of herself at the airport, proudly holding her passport.
In her post, she expressed, "Patience was my only passport for the past 5 years. Countless battles. Endless hope. Today, I hold my passport again. Ready for my Chapter 2! Satyameva Jayate."

Chakraborty was arrested in connection with Rajput's death in June 2020. She was later detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in September over a drug-related case tied to Rajput's passing and was released on bail after surrendering her passport to the NCB.
The actress is widely recognized for her roles in Sonali Cable and Jalebi, and her most recent appearance was in the film Chehre (2021), featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi.
Additionally, she made a return to television with shows like "MTV Roadies: Karm Ya Kaand" and "MTV Roadies: Double Cross."
