Italy road accident nagpur businessman: A tragic road accident in Italy killed Nagpur hotel businessman Javed Akhtar and his wife Nadira Gulshan. The family was holidaying in Europe, when his minibus collided with a van on the Orelia highway near Groseto. His daughter Arzu Akhtar was seriously injured in the accident and has been admitted to Lee Scott Hospital in Sienna.
55 -year -old Javed Akhtar was the owner and entrepreneur of the famous Gulshan Plaza Hotel in Nagpur. His wife Gulshan was 47 years old. His three children Arzu, Shifa and Jazel were traveling with him. The family started holidays from France on 22 September and reached Italy. The accident occurred when he was traveling to sightseeing in the nine -seater minibus.
According to local reports, three people, including the couple of Nagpur, died on the spot in this accident. The accident occurred due to a truck colliding with a damaged van. The minibus driver and the couple died immediately. Daughter Arzu suffered serious head injuries, while Shifa and Jazel are admitted to Florence and Grosato hospitals. When Jazell came to his senses, he sought help on the local helpline. According to local media, help arrived a little late. The injured were evicted from the vehicle by two teams of the fire department and were rushed to the hospital by helicopter due to critical condition.
Italy -based Indian Embassy condoled the death of the couple of Nagpur and said that he was in touch with family and local authorities. The embassy tweeted, "Embassy expresses heartbreaking condolences on the tragic death of two Nagpur citizens in an accident in Grosato. We wish the injured family to get well soon and provide all possible help."
