The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially unveiled the schedule for the Class 10th annual examinations for 2025. These exams are set to take place during the October–November period, commencing on 3rd November and concluding on 27th November 2025. All assessments will occur in a single session from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This year, around 95,000 students from regions including Kashmir, the colder areas of Jammu, and Ladakh are anticipated to participate in the exams. The government has opted to maintain the October–November timeframe to provide students ample opportunity to prepare according to their academic plans.

In response to the challenges posed by severe weather conditions such as heat waves, heavy rains, cloud bursts, and floods, JKBOSE has implemented a 15% reduction in the syllabus. Consequently, students are now required to study only 85% of the syllabus, which will be treated as equivalent to 100% for examination purposes.
JKBOSE has encouraged students to concentrate entirely on their exam preparations. The board has committed to conducting all examinations with utmost integrity and transparency. Inspectors have been directed to fulfill their responsibilities diligently, and the School Education Department will oversee the smooth and fair administration of the exams.
