Xiaomi 17T Series Spotted in IMEI Database; Global Launch Expected in February 2026

(Read) — Xiaomi appears to be preparing the next generation of its T-series flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Prowith fresh details emerging from the IMEI database. The listings hint at a global launch around February 2026just six months after the debut of the Xiaomi 15T series.

According to a report by XiaomiTimethe Xiaomi 17T has been registered in the IMEI database with model numbers 2602DPT53G (global) and 2602dpt53i (India). This indicates that Xiaomi may reintroduce its T-series flagships to the Indian market after a long gap — the last being the Xiaomi 11T series in 2021.

The Xiaomi 17T Promeanwhile, appears under model numbers 2602EPTC0G and 2602EPTC0Rbut notably lacks an Indian variant, suggesting it may remain exclusive to global markets.

The “2602” prefix in the model numbers points to a February 2026 release window. As per early speculation, the Xiaomi 17T could feature the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, while the 17T Pro may be powered by the Dimensity 9500. Both devices are expected to ship with HyperOS 3 out of the box, marking them among the first global Xiaomi phones to feature the updated operating system.

Xiaomi recently launched the Xiaomi 17, 17 Proand 17 Pro Max in China, and is expected to introduce the 17s for and 17 Ultra in early 2026. Of these, only the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra are likely to receive a global launch next year.
