  1. Cold compress: First, wrap ice in a clean cloth and compress it lightly for 10-15 minutes on that place. This will reduce both swelling and itching.
  2. Aloe vera gel: Apply pure aloe vera gel brought from fresh aloe vera leaf or from the market directly to the affected area. It has inflammation and relaxing properties.
  3. Tea Tree oil: Mix tea tree oil in a little coconut oil and apply it on the swollen area. It has antiseptic properties, which can reduce irritation and itching.
  4. Honey: Apply a little honey on that place. Honey has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which can prevent itching and infection.
  5. Apple Cider Vinegar: Mix apple vinegar in a little water and apply it on the affected place with a cotton pad. It helps in reducing itching and inflammation.
  6. Calamine Lotion: The Kalamine lotion found in the market is effective in reducing itching and redness immediately.
  7. Mint toothpaste: Put a small amount of white, mint toothpaste. The peppermint present in it gives cooling sensation and can reduce itching. (Although sensitive skin, do the patch test before trying it).
