He played a key role in winning his first Men World Cup title to West Indies in 1975.

Bernard Julian may not be in much discussion, but he contributed a lot to the team’s victory in the 1975 World Cup. He performed brilliantly against Sri Lanka for 4 wickets 20 runs, and 4 wickets against New Zealand for 27 runs. In the final match, he brought the team on the path of victory by scoring 2 wickets at Lord’s 38 runs and 26 not out. He was a left -arm swing bowler, whose bowling rhythm and action were considered very beautiful. Also, he was a calm and reliable player in batting. Bernard Julian scored 866 runs in 24 Tests in his international career and took 50 wickets. At the same time, he took 18 wickets in 12 ODIs.
