According to Tanvi, brush works better than sponge. The brush applies the product precisely and doesn't add extra moisture. There is often moisture left in the sponge, which causes the concealer to slide. Therefore, use a fluffy concealer brush so that oil control is maintained.
Tanvi tells that first of all clean the face with oil-control cleanser. After this apply lightweight moisturizer and mattifying primer. After this process, apply matte, oil-free concealer only on the spots. Set immediately with translucent powder or setting spray. Pay special attention to oily areas like T-zone and chin. Makeup artists recommend applying a thin layer of powder in between, this makes the concealer last longer. Use a slightly damp sponge, not wet, this will help the concealer set smoothly.
