Rae Bareli. Political turmoil continues over the incident of Dalit youth Hariom Valmiki, who was killed in mob lynching in Rae Bareli district of UP. Meanwhile, on Saturday, Yogi Government ministers Rakesh Sachan and Aseem Arun reached Nai Basti of Unchahar and met the victim’s family. Provided financial assistance of Rs 6.92-6.92 lakh to wife Pinky and father Gangadin respectively. Gave assurance of all possible help in future also. Also assured to introduce the family to CM Yogi Adityanath. Uchanhar MLA Manoj Pandey was also present on this occasion.

The ministers consoled Hariom by talking to his wife Pinky and daughter Ananya. Also, a check of Rs 6.92 lakh was given as financial assistance by the government. Hariom’s daughter Ananya will get a stipend of Rs 2500 per month. He asked about the action taken so far and got his thoughts. On this Pinky said that we are getting full help from the government. SP is taking action against the accused. We are completely satisfied with the assistance and action of the government and police.

Our aim is not politics: Minister Aseem Arun

After meeting the family, Minister Asim Arun said that the government is strict regarding the incident. Strict steps are being taken. Police is taking swift action. So far 12 accused have been arrested. He targeted Rahul Gandhi without taking his name. Said that there should be no politics in this matter. The government is very serious on this. We are here to deliver justice. Our aim is not politics.
