Early Life of Kishore Kumar Born on August 4 1929 in Khandwa Madhya Pradesh Kishore Kumars real name was Abhas Kumar Ganguly. His elder brother Ashok Kumar was already a renowned Bollywood actor which led Kishore Kumar to pursue cinema. However while Ashok excelled in acting Kishore Kumar captivated the world with his songs. Kishore Kumars Singing Career Initially he was encouraged to act but his soul lay in music. Kishore Kumar began acting in 1946 with the film Shikari but he wasnt interested in acting. He wanted to become a singer like K.L. Saigal. In 1948 he sang his first song Marne ki duayen kyun mangu jeene ki tamanna kaun kare for Dev Anand in the film Ziddi under the music direction of Khemchand Prakash. After this he achieved tremendous success in singing and never looked back. Evergreen Hits of Kishore Kumar Kishore Kumar was a voice that gave Hindi cinema countless evergreen songs such as Mere Sapno Ki Rani Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas and Zindagi Ek Safar Hai Suhana.
