He said that ignoring road safety rules while speeding or carelessly is not appropriate under any circumstances. No work in the world is bigger than one’s life, so no matter how fast it is, it is the primary duty of every citizen to follow the safety rules while walking on the road.
CM Mohan Yadav has appealed that everyone should wear a helmet while driving a two-wheeler and should never forget to wear a seat belt while driving a four-wheeler. The Chief Minister further said that if we improve, the world will also improve.
Chief Minister Yadav said that the true skill of a good driver lies in the fact that we inspire others with our sensible driving and responsible conduct on the road. Accidents can be reduced only through collective awareness towards road safety.
He launched Sanjay, an advanced application based on modern road safety measures, by pressing a button on the remote. In the workshop, two separate MoUs on DDHI and Road Safety Management were signed by Public Works Department and Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Limited with IIT Madras and Save Life Foundation and mutual exchanges were made.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also released the book Road Safety Education System and Road Safety Report prepared by IIT Madras. Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh said that the Public Works Department has made many innovations to strengthen road safety.
Black spot alert system has also been added to this app, which will warn the drivers in advance that there is a dangerous place ahead. Apart from this, information about petrol pumps, repair stations and other essential facilities will also be available in the app.
