After a lot of discussions within the party and with NDA allies, LJP(RV) of Chirag Paswan has finally released its first list of 14 candidates on Wednesday. There were several seats which the party had earlier claimed to have got in the alliance. However, it got two of their choice seats of Govindganj and Brahmpur.
In Govindganj, BJP vacated its winning seat for LJP. The party has fielded state president Raju Tiwari from the seat. Similarly, in Brahmpur, the party has fielded Hulas Pandey. The JDU has left its sitting seat Parbatta to accommodate Chirag Paswan. Parbatta JDU MLA Sanjeev has joined the RJD and is contesting on an RJD ticket.
