Paris Fury has hit out after her daughter's engagement backlash, saying, "I know she's young".
Paris and Tyson Fury's eldest daughter Venezuela, aged 16, got engaged to her boxer boyfriend Noah Price last month.
In a video that was shared on social media, Noah was seen getting down on one knee at Venezuela's 16th birthday party, with fans quickly sharing their "shock".
Paris appeared on ITV's This Morning on Thursday (October 16), where she spoke to hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard about her marriage renewal, which took place in August.
The reality TV star said that she loved being able to get her children involved in the special ceremony, but Venezuela shared her doubts, reports OK!
"It's interesting that Venezuela's saying, 'Come on, mum,' because she's now got engaged," said Ben.
Paris replied: "Obviously she's probably thinking, 'They're doing this and now I'm doing this'. She probably knew at that time that I'll be doing this myself. I think she must of because it wasn't long before she got engaged. So, she must have thought, 'This is going to be me, and my parents are doing it. Oh my God.'"
The star went on to reveal that her daughter would like to have a small wedding, but she's currently "enjoying" being engaged, and isn't in a rush to walk down the aisle.
Ben then asked: "She's quite young, though, as well. Do you and Tyson worry a little bit about the fact that she's only sixteen and she's got a whole life ahead of her?"
Hitting back against the backlash from fans, Paris said: "Not at all. Venezuela is so mature for her years. Venezuela has done so much, even in such a short time, just because of who she is and the fact that she's got six younger brothers and sisters that she's helped bring up - I can't deny it.
"She's very mature. In the last twelve months, I've found that I've been doing work with Venezeula. She's been doing different shoots, interviews, working on social media. I've given her all options in life and she has chose this path.
"And I can't deny it, because I was seventeen when I got engaged. She's obviously following in my footsteps, so how can I can judge her in any which way. I know she's young, but I think she's found the person that she loves and if she's happy, I will completely support her."
Elsewhere in the interview, Paris spoke about the upcoming season of Netflix documentary At Home With The Furys, which is nearing the end of filming.
She also shared a marriage update, confirming that she isn't planning to renew her marriage vows to Tyson anymore. The pair, who first got married back in 2008, have notably had three renewal ceremonies.
At Home With The Furys is available to stream on Netflix, while This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1 at 10am
