Nita Ambani, wife of Asia’s richest billionaire Mukesh Ambani, drew attention after appearing with a Hermès Birkin handbag covered in 3,025 diamonds, one of the most opulent bags ever made.
At fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s party in Mumbai on Oct. 12, Ambani wore a custom saree by Malhotra, paired with Colombian emerald heart-shaped earrings, diamond bracelets, and the diamond-studded Hermès bag, according to Hindustan Times.
Malhotra later shared on Instagram that her look reflected the classic and vibrant spirit of the evening.

Photos of Ambani at the event quickly went viral on China’s Weibo platform.
Chinese outlet Ettoday noted that the highlight of her outfit was the Hermès Sac Bijou Birkin, designed by Pierre Hardy, creative director of Hermès High Jewelry. The bag is encrusted with 3,025 diamonds totaling more than 111 carats, crafted from crocodile leather and platinum with a 5-carat stone on the handle.
Only three Sac Bijou Birkins have been made.

Theirs said producing one Sac Bijou Birkin can take up to five years and requires approval from Hermès senior management.
Tatler Asia estimated the value of each bag at around US$2 million, though Hermès has never publicly disclosed its price.
Nita, 61, is a classical Bharatnatyam dancer and former teacher who met Mukesh Ambani after performing at an event attended by his father, Reliance Industries founder Dhirubhai Ambani. The couple married in 1985 and have three children.
According to ForbesMukesh Ambani has a net worth of $105 billion, making him Asia’s richest person.
