There's great news for candidates dreaming of a government job in Punjab. The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 101 Horticulture Development Officer positions. Age Limit
The minimum age for applying for these positions is 18 years, and the maximum age is 37 years. Age relaxation will also be provided to candidates in special categories.
Selection Method
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination and an interview. The written examination will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions, totaling 480 marks, covering topics related to the position, general knowledge, general awareness, general mental ability, and reasoning. The exam will award four marks for each correct answer and one mark for each incorrect answer. Candidates who qualify will also be given a 60-minute interview.
Educational Qualifications
To apply for these positions, candidates must have a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture from a recognized institution in India. Candidates must have studied Horticulture as an elective during graduation. Additionally, candidates must possess an M.Sc. degree in Agriculture and other prescribed qualifications.
Application and Examination Fees
All candidates must pay an application fee of ₹500 and an examination fee of ₹1,000. Additionally, SC, ST, and OBC candidates from Punjab must pay an application fee of ₹500 and an examination fee of ₹250.
