Australia and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star Nathan Ellis recently revealed his combined ODI XI featuring players from India, Australia, and England. Surprisingly, he did not include legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who holds several world records including the most international runs and centuries.
Ellis, who played for CSK in the 2025 IPL season, selected five Indian players in his team: Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Anil Kumble, and Jasprit Bumrah. For the opening pair, he chose David Warner from Australia to partner with Rohit Sharma.
Nathan Ellis revealed his combined India-England-Australia ODI XI while speaking on Fox Cricket. His lineup featured a mix of modern-day stars and legendary players from the three cricketing nations.
The team includes David Warner and Rohit Sharma as the openers, followed by Virat Kohli and Ricky Ponting in the middle order. Michael Bevan and Eoin Morgan strengthen the batting lineup, while MS Dhoni takes the role of wicketkeeper and finisher. In the bowling department, Ellis picked Brett Lee, Shane Warne, Anil Kumble, and Jasprit Bumrah, giving the team a strong balance of pace and spin.
