ACC: BCCI has written a letter to Pakistan Cricket Board Chief and ACC President Mohsin Naqvi demanding the Asia Cup 2025 trophy. Let us tell you that after defeating Pakistan in the final, the Indian team had refused to take the trophy from the hands of Mohsin Naqvi. After which Naqvi left with the trophy and the Indian team celebrated without the trophy. Now BCCI has given a warning and demanded the return of the trophy.
After this, BCCI has once again threatened the PCB Chief with action. BCCI has said that if the trophy is not returned to India then it will take the matter to ICC. Till now BCCI has raised this issue several times, but Naqvi is adamant on his stand. Earlier, during the ACC meeting on September 30, Rajiv Shukla had said on behalf of BCCI that the trophy is not anyone’s inheritance and should be returned to India as soon as possible.
Team India had won easily in the final match of Asia Cup 2025. After which, when the turn came to take the trophy, the Indian team refused to take the trophy from the hands of Pakistan Cricket Board Chief and ACC President Mohsin Naqvi. After which Naqvi took the trophy with him and the Indian team celebrated without the trophy. BCCI has strongly condemned Mohsin Naqvi in this matter and is continuously trying to bring the trophy to India.
