New Tunnel: The journey from Kota of Rajasthan to Delhi is now going to be easy. Vehicles will start running from Kota to Delhi on the Delhi-Mumbai Atlane Expressway by the end of the year. Work on the final phase of the Kota to Delhi route is underway, but the work on the country’s first eight-lane tunnel being built in the Mukundara Hills Tiger Reserve is still incomplete. This may take four more months.

According to the information received, the work of 26.5 km package number 10 between Kota and Delhi on Delhi Mumbai Expressway is in the final stage. The high tension line of the package from Simalia to Phagi in Jaipur is coming in between at two places in the alignment of the expressway. Shifting of both lines is to take place. In this, work is being done for one line with a shutdown of one month in September.

when will the work be completed

Let us tell you that after this shifting to the second line will be done. For this also, work will be done by taking shutdown. The finishing work of the route is going on in the final phase, which will be completed by the end of November. In such a situation, operation of vehicles will start from Kota to Delhi in the beginning of December.

Due to heavy rains, the work was affected due to damage to the roads to transport materials to the construction site. For this, Dausa PIU’s project director Bharat Singh is looking after the package work from Sawaimadhopur.

Last work on Kota-Delhi route

At present one can reach Laban in Bundi district from Kota via expressway. After this one has to come to Kota Lalsot Mega Highway from the expressway. After traveling about 60 km, the expressway can be used from Kushtala in Sawaimadhopur back to Delhi. Only the work of this package is left before the Kota-Delhi route starts.

Work started in 2019

The work on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway started in 2019. It was targeted to be completed in four years by 2023, but could not be completed due to various obstacles at many places.

In such a situation, now its work will be completed in 2026. With the completion of its construction, the common people, farmers and businessmen will directly benefit from the improved connectivity of Kota with Delhi and Mumbai. Apart from this, the connectivity of Kota to Jaipur and Sawai Madhopur will be better.
