Will give an amount of Rs 1 crore to PM relief fund
Former Haryana Chief Minister and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has sold his ancestral land. He has registered this land in the name of his brother’s wife. He has received approximately one crore rupees from this sale, which he has decided to donate to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. This registration process was completed in Rohtak tehsil on Thursday.
Manohar Lal Khattar visited Rohtak tehsil at around 11 pm. There his brother and other people of the village welcomed him. After the registry, Khattar got the photographs taken and registered the land in the name of his brother’s wife. He decided to deposit Rs 1 crore in the PM Relief Fund, so that the needy can be helped.
Manohar Lal Khattar belongs to Baniyani village of Rohtak district of Haryana. Of his family’s ancestral land, one and a half acres of land came to his share, which he sold to his brother’s wife for Rs 1 crore.
Union Minister Manohar Lal has donated his ancestral house in the name of Maa Shanti Devi Library. This house will be converted into a library, where children from rural areas will be able to prepare for competitive examinations.
