Lucknow. After the warmth in the weather in Uttar Pradesh for the last few days, now there is a possibility of coolness returning again. The weather has remained dry in most parts of the state for the last 24 hours, but the Meteorological Department has indicated that both the temperature will drop and the possibility of rain is going to increase in the coming days.

Cyclonic wind will change the weather trend

The Meteorological Department has said that the effect of the currently active cyclonic winds will slow down in the next 2 to 3 days. This will have a direct impact on the easterly winds which will weaken. As a result, minimum temperatures may drop by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius in eastern Uttar Pradesh. Whereas in western UP the temperature may go down by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. Due to this fall, there will be increase in coolness in the morning and night, while slight warmth will remain during the day.

Chance of rain in eastern UP on October 29

According to meteorologist Dr. Atul Singh, a new cyclonic system is becoming active in the coastal areas of South India. Due to the effect of this system, “light rain with thundershowers may occur in some districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh on October 29.” There are chances of rain in Gorakhpur, Deoria, Ballia, Mau, Ghazipur, Azamgarh and surrounding areas of UP.

There is a possibility of cloud cover, strong winds and light drizzle in these areas. This cyclone is associated with a system active in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, which will have the greatest impact on eastern UP as it moves northwards.

Cold will return, effect will increase in the morning and evening

From October 29 onwards, the effect of cold winds will once again be felt in the state. The temperature will drop rapidly in the morning and late night. A drop of 3 to 4 degrees Celsius may be recorded in many districts. The difference between day and night temperatures will increase, due to which the rosy coolness will return.

Meteorological Department’s advice

The Meteorological Department has advised people to start using light and warm clothes in the morning and night. Elderly people and children should be especially careful because sudden drop in temperature can increase problems like cold and cough. Farmers have also been warned to carefully decide the timing of harvesting and irrigation of crops on days when there is a possibility of rain.
