Prince Andrew has been told to "read the room" as Britons "resent" one key thing about him. The 65-year-old announced last week that he would relinquish his remaining title and honours amid the latest Epstein scandal.
Questions later arose about whether he will continue to reside at Royal Lodge, which has now been deemed as symbolising "everything that is wrong about Andrew". It has be said that he will continue his residency, although many have called on him to make the decision to leave on his own accord.
Speaking on the latest episode of the Daily Mail's Palalce Confidential, royal expert Richard Kay was asked by host Jo Elvin to describe the advice that he would place upon Andrew. He said: "Well, if I asked for my advice, I'd say pack your bags, get out of Royal Lodge. For starters, that house, as [royal expert] Richard Eden said, symbolises everything that is wrong about Andrew, his excesses, his extravagance, his entitlement, and the public rensent it. And he really has got to read the room here. Um, which he has seemingly failed to do for many years."
Andrew signed a 75-year lease on the 30-room mansion in 2003, with his residency set to, according to legal documents, end in 2078.
